Perfect for a high traffic area. Basement stairs light at the bottom of the stairs is in constant daily/hourly use. Long lasting metal construction in the Correct color! I had electricians install a plug next to the switch, so as to facilitate easier vacuuming of the staircase. It was hard to find a la big box store a suitable replacement. I highly recommend it = buy it - install it - forget it and or admire it!
