I got this to replace the old silver PDU I had. It works as you'd expect it to.The analog voltmeter seems to work while the unit is off and also gives off a little light, and is very bright when it's on. If you want to use it and keep the room dark I'd recommend dimming tape over it or put it in a ventilated cabinet and close the door. There is a version with a digital readout but it's more expensive, and I personally think do not look as good if you're going for a classic look in your rack anyway.The pullout lights have 6 LEDs in each stalk (for a total of 12) which can be turned on/off separate from the main power switch (as you'd expect) and they are very bright at full power. After shutting them off they still hold a little power and dim gradually.The PDU appears to have shipped direct from Sweetwater as well as there was no amazon livery on the box, and there was a thank you brochure from them complete with some candies in plastic (price was the same though as if I'd ordered it direct.)I'd get this again if I needed one.
