Our unique design return fitting produces a circulatory water flow pattern simulating a lazy river type of effect. Unlike current design “Eyeball” return fittings that cannot direct filtered water at an angle greater than 65 degrees, our fitting delivers pool water at 90 degrees to wall surface. This unique design redirects water to flow parallel with your pools outer surface. This creates a circular pattern of pool water racing around the outer edge of your pool wall. A secondary benefit of this water flow pattern is, debris on pool floor is swept from outer wall surfaces into a smaller area in the center of the pool floor allowing you a more convenient and efficient vacuuming of floor debris. A 3/4" outlet matches your existing eyeball fitting outlet diameter so pump performance is maintained. Now you can enjoy rafting in your own pool while the current slowly floats you around your pool. No more sitting in the same spot for hours while on your favorite raft. Installation is easy. Makes sure pump is off. First, from inside the pool remove the existing eyeball fitting by unscrewing flange, remove interior eyeball and remove threaded shaft. Sometimes all 3 parts can be removed when you unscrew the eyeball fitting. Next, screw lazy river fitting into return outlet hole. Hand tighten is all that is needed. Finally, turn pump on and make final adjustment to lazy river fitting so that return water is not creating a lot of surface turbulence. When installed, the lazy river fitting will extend 4.5” off the pool wall. The fitting is 4.5” long. It’s constructed with PVC materials certified for pool use. The male thread is 1-1/2” MIP. Teflon tape is not required. Patent Pending.
